ONE2MOO TO LAUNCH COMPANY AT SURTEX 2008
AT THE JACOB JAVITS CONVENTION CENTER
IN NEW YORK, NEW YORK MAY 18 - 20
NEW YORK, NEW YORK (February 4, 2008) – one2moo will launch its company in booth #2432 at the SURTEX show in New York City in May. Dogs, cats, birds, and bunnies are a few of the animals, in addition to cows, that will be featured in the inaugural offering of holiday, seasonal, and everyday designs. Artist Stephanie Ruble uses the computer to create imaginative, bright colored illustrations and quirky characters, like Sandi Apricot, an ordinary cow that wants to be a superhero.
Stephanie’s designs and characters reflect her interest in children’s books, comic strips, and fine art. Many of her digital designs are reminiscent of cut paper collage, but are actually painted in Photoshop.
“The technique I use started as a happy accident. I liked the mistake enough to work with it to create the style I call Digital Paper Collage. It’s a good style for me because it’s like a cross between my old abstract figural painting style and the art I do for my children’s book portfolio.”
“My character Sandi Apricot is from a graphic novel project for kids that I’m working on and is in my cartoonish style, which developed from my love of comic strips, children’s books, and graphic novels.”
one2moo’s holiday, seasonal and everyday designs by artist Stephanie Ruble feature animals of all sorts and wacky, universal characters.
